Look at these super moving pictures! They were designed and created using linkage mechanisms. Some pictures have more than one moving part. A linkage is when levers are connected together using a mixture of moving pivots and fixed pivots.

This week, class 9 finished their DT learning journey by making the pizzas we designed. We had to think carefully about hygiene and how to use kitchen equipment correctly and safely. Once our pizzas were cooked, we got to eat them and the final verdict from everyone was DE-LI-CIOUS!

Today in DT we concluded the practical part of our topic by making our own pizzas. We couldn’t have done it without all the preparation and sampling we’ve done over the last few weeks. A few of us will definitely be making our own pizzas at home.
