This half-term in D&T, Year 6 have been planning to cook a party food buffet. In groups, they used their recipes and plans to make cookies, cake, fruit kebabs, pizzas and sandwiches. We then enjoyed a picnic trying all the food in the hall.
In class 3 we have been learning about sculptures. During our DT lesson this week we have started to mould and sculpt our clay turtles that the children have been designing. Very messy but lots of fun!

We have really enjoyed designing and making our own vehicles with free-rotating wheels in D&T this term! We carefully painted our boxes and then we attached the axel, wheels and washers.
