This week was Children’s Mental Health Week. At Harwood Park, we believe Mental wellbeing is essential for all children. We have been using lots of different strategies to help us subtract in class 5. We have used lots on hands on concrete materials to help us count and subtract numbers, along with using tens frames, part-whole models and number sentences where we have found the missing number bonds.
