In history, class 5 have been learning about kings queens and Castles. We looked at the features of a castle and why they they were built. We discovered that castles were built to protect people of a high status such as kings and queens and they were a reflection upon how rich these people were! We learnt lots more things such as the first castles were build of wood and castles have water called a moat around the castle so it was difficult for enemies to approach the castle protecting who ever lived there. We learnt lots of facts!
With the facts we learnt we then carried out a true or false activity by reading statements out castles and placing them into the true or false groups.
