Class 9 have been learning all about how to measure area this week. Starting by counting squares in rectilinear shapes, the children are now using multiplication to calculate area of many different shapes.
Class 3 have been studying The Three Little Pigs. Yesterday we played a game of what time is it Mr Wolf. The Children found this challenging at first but with perseverance they were able to make o’clock. The children then challenged themselves to make half past the hour.
Today Class 5 have been constructing tally charts as part of our statistics learning journey. We had to work cooperatively with our partners, or group, to count and record correctly the objects we were given. Finally we had to report what we had found out.
Today in Maths Class 8 were set a challenge.They needed to discover the value of each rod from 1 to 10. The children persevered and co-operated to complete the challenge.
