Today the children in Reception worked together to make numbers up to 15 in different ways using a variety of equipment. They persevered and managed to explain all the different combinations they had learnt using mathematical language. Then they found the correct digit and some children put them in order!

Year 4 have made excellent progress today in their continuation of work on factor pairs and prime numbers. Using Cuisenaire Rods, the children were able to identify different arrays in order to find factor pairs.
In maths Class 3 have been developing a greater understanding of number. We used physical resources to make learning fun and engaging.

Today Class 8 used the dienes to divide. We worked in pairs and closely followed the Steps to Success to help us to understand this tricky new concept.
