In Class 7, we’re going to be writing instructions about how to make a delicious Stone Age recipe. We realised that, before we could instruct others, we’d need to be experts ourselves so we got things cookin’.
Today, Class 9 began their new topic of Anglo Saxons & Scots by studying a variety of artifacts discovered at Sutton Hoo. We then followed this up with trying on some replica Anglo-Saxon armour and then even holding some replica weapons.
Class 14 have been writing letters of condolence to members of the Royal Family. They studied the life of Queen Elizabeth II and after the funeral wrote a letter to express their sympathy.

Yesterday, Class 12 visited Liverpool World Museum. We explored all five floors and took part in a ‘mummy workshop’ teaching us about how to mummify a body.
Jake, Reilly and Myla all made fantastic cakes for the baking competition. Hopefully they tasted as good as they looked! 😋
