Class 12 have been researching about Tutankhamun. We have been using the internet to help answer questions about his life.

To help us remember the story of King Alfred and the Danelaw, we decided to perform a few freeze frames of the story. We loved to depict the battle scenes but then laughed the most when depicting anyone as king Alfred. We then concluded this task by storyboarding the events.
Today we have been finding out about historical sources and how they help us to find out about things that have happened in the past. During the Christmas concert, 6 of our students took part in handbell ringing. This form of ringing became popular in the 1700s. Todays assembly was the history of the young Grace Darling. A brave lighthouse keeper that endangered her life to save 9 others. We made this fun by using some drama. We re-enacted parts of the book and had great fun doing so.
