It has been reading week in Reception and the children have been pulling apart a letter from the duck that the nasty mean farmer chopped up. The children had to read the sentences and work together to put the letter back together in the right order to save the duck! Read more…

Class 3 have enjoyed a fantastic world book day! We have focused on Room on the Broom. We have wrote our own potions and made up our own magic spells that turned Mrs Lees face green!

In English, Class 10 have been reading an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare. Today we have been learning how to add expression to our reading. Working with our partners, we took on the roles of Mr and Mrs Twit and read aloud their speech taking into account their feelings in the chapter. We had some great ideas and used our voices creatively!
Today Class 12 had lots of fun in their grammar lesson! We played Kahoot – a quiz game on the iPad. The children really enjoyed this quiz and can’t wait for the next grammar lesson!
