Cooperative learning

Class 6 are have been thinking about working cooperatively. After thinking carefully about what cooperative learning looks like, they had to work cooperatively with their partner to make the tallest tower they could with marshmallows and sticks of dried spaghetti. It wasn’t as easy as you might think!

The Newsroom

This morning Class 13 transformed into a newsroom. The Year 6 children worked in pairs to produce the final draft of their news reports about Sandra Trickett and the Friends of Hopwood Park. Copies of their work will be available to read by the end of the week.

Young Voices

On Thursday, the school choir took part in the Young Voices concert at Manchester Arena. We joined together with other schools to form a mass choir of 5470 children.
