On Thursday, the school choir took part in the Young Voices concert at Manchester Arena. We joined together with other schools to form a mass choir of 5470 children.
After an afternoon rehearsal (and a quick tea break) they performed to a packed arena audience of parents, carers, family and friends. They sang 14 different songs and we’re also treated to performances from Alfie Shepard, Natalie Williams, The Magnets and street dance troupe, Urban Strides.
The children’s enthusiasm and commitment really shone through this year and all their hard work definitely paid off. Their attitude and behaviour on the day were impeccable too – they were a credit to the school.
We had a truly amazing night and hope those who came to watch did too. If you were there, either performing or watching, please let us know your favourite part in the comments.
