This half term class 3 have been looking at traditional tales with a focus on The Three Little Pigs. The children have enjoyed reading the story and working together to role play the story in our Three Little Pigs role play area in the classroom.
Today Class 5 have been constructing tally charts as part of our statistics learning journey. We had to work cooperatively with our partners, or group, to count and record correctly the objects we were given. Finally we had to report what we had found out.
Class 13 have been busy inventing different types of wearable technology. They began by looking at products that are already available, then worked in teams to design their own. Class 4 are really enjoying their ‘Reading Buddy’ sessions with Class 12. Their buddies are helping them to learn their key words and help build up their fluency in reading.

The cold and soggy weather has not stopped children in Class 1 and 2 from enjoying some of our new outdoor resources. Children have been busy building, balancing and role-playing outside today!
Today Class 8 used the dienes to divide. We worked in pairs and closely followed the Steps to Success to help us to understand this tricky new concept.
