Natural vs man made

In class 6, we have been exploring everyday materials in Science. the children loved sorting their materials into natural and man made and could give excellent reasons for why they had sorted each material into which category. They are becoming super scientists! Here are the finished results…

          In class 4 we have been identifying plants and we have planted some of our very own.  We were very happy to observe are now starting to sprout and we can’t wait until they flower!    

Hands on with rocks and fossils

The best way to understand rocks is to see them in person! So in today’s science lesson, we looked at a wide variety of rocks, from igneous, to sedimentary, to metamorphic. What’s Is A Plant?

We started our new topic this week in Science ‘identifying plants.’ The children enjoyed looking at exploring plants in our outside area, then we planted our own seed and predicted what it will look like in a few weeks time. Stay posted to find out how it grows!
