Nursery visited the local cenotaph for remembrance. We made crosses to leave at the cenotaph and enjoyed looking at the wooden carvings and remembrance flower boxes and benches.

In class 4 today we remembered the soldiers that have fought for our country and learnt about what we do to remember and honour them. We made our own poppies and had a 2 minutes silence at 11am.

Representatives from the school council went to Heywood Memorial Gardens this morning to lay a poppy wreath for Harwood Park.
