In our Topic lessons, we have been exploring our school and classroom. We learnt about the different people who help us in school and went for a walk to visit some of those people. We had a look in the office and watched Steve cleaning the floors after lunch time. He showed us how the machine works. We have created maps of our classroom and outdoor area.
We have enjoyed the School role-play area this half term. We may have some future teachers in our class!
We compared schools now and in the past and investigated some historic artefacts such as a Quill and Inkwell, old text books and chalk boards. We all had a go at writing with the quill and inkwell too.
