We looked closely at artefacts from Touchstones Museum to develop our understanding of what life was like for people living in cities during the Second World War. We explored the impact of the Blitz and how to prepare for evacuation.
Class 12 used WW2 artefacts from Touchstones Museum to deepen their understanding of what life was like for people (particularly children) living in cities during the Second World War. Children also had the opportunity to explore the impact of the BlitzĀ and how to prepare for evacuation.

Today in History, Class 4 were learning about what homes were like when our Grandparents were little. We had lots of fun guessing what some of the items were and what they were used for.
On Wednesday, Year 5 visited the Liverpool World Museum and participated in an art workshop in the Walker Art Gallery. The children thoroughly enjoyed looking around the many exhibits, with particular favourites being the Ancient Egyptians and the Aquarium. A fantastic day was had by all!
