In their assembly this week, children in Key Stage 2 discussed cyberbullying. They discovered that cyberbullying is the ‘repetitive, intentional hurting of another person through technological devices such as phones or over the internet’. In computing Class 13 are learning how to create spreadsheets. This is the first time they have used spreadsheets, so the first lesson was spent learning how to input information and create a simple formula. Bradley soon became an expert!

Class 13 participated in the Hour of code this week. They put their coding skills into practice to complete the online activities. Thank you to the digital leaders, Summer and Tryphon, who supported us.
Class 11 enjoyed taking part in the global Hour of Code week! We started by watching a video of celebrities describing how important coding is for the future. We then tried to guide Kyle round the classroom using coding and then applied this knowledge to some challenging apps.
Class 14 completed their Hour of Code today with the support of Digital Leaders Ruby & Sophie.
This afternoon in Class 6 we had our hour of code in computing! Two of the digital leaders came in to help us design algorithms that would help the Grinch deliver presents. We loved it, and it helped us remember all our computing work from last half term.
