Class 11 completed their ‘Hour of Code’ yesterday, using a variety of programs to develop their coding skills.

Class 14 took part in this year’s hour of code. Children explored the website to choose a coding programme with their partner. A popular programme was ‘Dance Party’ where children used coding to create dance routines to their favourite music.

In class 7 we have completed our hour of code! We had lots of fun using code to make characters complete commands.

Computing – Debugging
Today we learnt about bugs and how they can affect our algorithms. We learnt how to check our code and correct it so that the algorithms worked again – this is called debugging. well done Class 6!

Computer Coders
This week in Computing, we started coding. We recapped what coding was and some of the vocabulary associated with it. We then worked in pairs to create small programmes where objects moved when specific conditions were met (clicking on them).

Times table rockstars!
