This week, Class 11 were so excited to experience the Samsung Space Bus which is a virtual reality journey into space with Tim Peake. Children enjoyed two activities during this visit. Class 5 were lucky enough to visit the Tim Peake descent VR bus on Thursday. The children were able to see what the descent back to earth was like, launch rockets and explore the inside of a space shuttle. All the children really enjoyed their session!

Nursery have been experimenting with the different musical instruments and they worked together to make a rock band. The children banged, tapped and stroked the different instruments to hear what sounds the instruments made and then they played the instruments together singing along to different nursery rhymes.
As part of our science learning journey about materials, Class 5 have been investigating which materials we can change the shape of. We tested a range of materials such as wood, rubber, plasticine and stone to see if we could twist, squash, bend or stretch them.
