Nursery have been taking part in regular group time activities to support the development of communication and language. The group activities aim to support the children’s development in listening and attention, speaking and understanding.
This half term, Class 9 have been looking at the damage humans are doing to the planet and the ways in which we can reverse some of that damage. They have made a short documentary – in the style of David Attenborough – to showcase what they have learnt.
Nursery have been discussing how they are feeling and how they show their emotions. The children had the opportunity to draw a picture showing how they are feeling. Well done Year 6 on their fantastic leaver’s assembly. They shared their memories of life at Harwood Park and sang a beautiful song. This week Class 8 have voted for their Children’s Champion who will represent the voice of children at Rochdale Council. We watched videos from each of the candidates and then held a secret ballot to vote for our favourite. Can you remember why you voted for your favourite candidate?
