Today in English, class 11 worked on using effective communication during various games and activities. We discussed how important it was to be able to have good speaking and listening skills and how this would help them as they progress through their school life and eventually worklife too. In one activity, we did some creative story telling. Each child had to continue the last part of the story which had been added by their peer. This required use of listening skills to hear what had already happened and apply their ability to create and interesting story line. We also debated a very topical subject … Are computer games good for you? It was nice to see all children being open to other view points even if it isn’t something they follow on a regular basis.
