Making memories!

As we are busy in our final term of the year, Class 12 are beginning to feel quite nostalgic about their time at Harwood Park – particularly Year 6! We love making memories together and we are enjoying every second of our final term in Class 12.

Blackpool Zoo!

The children in Class 12 and 13 had an amazing trip to Blackpool Zoo! We saw lots of different mammals, birds and reptiles – we even got to watch the sealion show! The children were excellent, and a real credit to our school. Take a look at our pictures below.

A “jawsome” experience!!!

Class 8 enjoyed a wonderful school trip to the Blue Planet Aquarium yesterday. They were amazed by all of the fascinating creatures that they saw, especially the sharks. The children were a credit to Harwood Park with their impeccable behaviour all day. What was your favourite part of our trip?

World Cup Semi-Finalists!

Harwood Park entered a team in to a county-wide football tournament in Castleton today. Every school was allocated a country and would compete in a World Cup consisting of 32 teams. Singing Challenge

This afternoon Class 3 have enjoyed taking part in a singing challenge. Different primary schools across greater Manchester have joined in with the singing challenge.  The children were very excited and enthusiastic about joining in with the challenge and felt apart of the community.

Indonesian Masks!

As part of our learning about the firework-maker’s daughter, we have been studying traditional Indonesian art. The children were really interested in the masks and we decided to make our own. We used collage to create scary symmetrical masks. What do you think?
