Revision with a twist!

Mr Stamp has completed a past sats paper but he is not sure if he got everything correct or not as he was very tired when working… therefore Class 14 are working through his answers to the reading paper and assessing what has been missed or not explained fully in his answers. Reading books

The pre school children who are moving up to Reception in September will be receiving a reading book today. The book will have pictures only in for you and your child to discuss what is happening in the story. The children can predict what they think will happen in the story and discuss the pictures, looking at the setting and characters. This week we have finished off our Africa topic by designing and painting African drums. We have practised mixing warm colours and painting them carefully by looking at examples for our inspiration of African patterns.

Wildcats!

  Today some of the girls in KS1 enjoyed a girls football taster session with Leigh-Anne who runs an all girls football club called Wildcats. They really enjoyed a taste of some of the skills they might learn at the club.
