We have been investigating the uses of magnets and exploring the materials that are magnetic. There are so many uses of magnets that we didn’t know existed! Did you know that magnets are used for some trains? They’re very fast and smooth.
Class 8 have been exploring place value with the equipment, making sure they are secure in their understanding of number. We have been ordering and comparing numbers focusing on the 100s, 10s and 1s.
Class 8 have been working on their cooperative skills. They had a task of creating different shapes using a tangram and their sharing/communication skills were put to the test! Some great team work happening here!
