Visit from poet Ian Bland

Class 6 had a wonderful time exploring poetry today with local poet, Ian Bland.

Ian delivered a fun assembly where he performed some of his poems including, The Dinner Lady Dance, I’ll Never Fall in Love Again and The Teachers Are Asleep.

We then had a workshop with Ian where we were taught how to write our own animal alliteration poems, which we then performed in another assembly.
