On Friday afternoon Class 13 had a training session with coaches from Rochdale Hornets. They practiced passing the ball and worked together as teams.

After a democratic process of applications and voting, I am delighted to announce Class 14’s PLT – Anny & Chloe.
Class 14 have been enjoying the continued exploration of Anthony Horowitz’ Stormbreaker this week. Today’s lesson has involved the children identifying new vocabulary, finding definitions, applying them to the context of the text and coming up with imaginative alternatives.
Year 6 enjoyed their first rugby coaching session on Friday. Every week the Rochdale Hornets coaches will come in to teach the boys and girls of Year 6 the rules and skills of rugby.
Class 13 returned to school this morning looking smart and ready to work. Here they are writing book reviews to be displayed in our reading area. Keep up the good work!

Well done Year 6 on their fantastic leaver’s assembly. They shared their memories of life at Harwood Park and sang a beautiful song.
