Brass Tuition
Class 9 have been enjoying their music lessons from Rochdale Music Service. Mr Dixon has been in school for the last three weeks, teaching us how to play the cornet. So far, we have learnt the notes ‘C’, ‘D,’ and ‘E’.

Musical instruments
In today’s music lesson we introduced the children to some musical instruments. We learnt the names of the instruments and listened to what different sounds they made. We added our instruments to one of our nursery rhymes.

Hands, Feet, Heart
Today, Class 6 have been practising their performance of ‘Hands, Feet, Heart’ and also introduced an accompaniment of the glockenspiels.

Exploring with music
Nursery have been exploring with musical instruments this afternoon and listening to the different sounds they make. We have also really enjoyed listening to African music and African drumming.

Singing and Recorders in Year 5
This half term we have been working on the Adele song “Make you feel my love.” We have listened and discussed a range of songs. We have also been learning to play the recorder. Today we preformed singing the song as well as playing on the recorders.
