Our Language and communication lesson this week was based around environmental changes and debating who has the power to make changes to climate change, waste and other negative issues arising around the world. We discussed some new vocabulary including carbon footprint and biodegradable and included them in our response.
In nursery we have been focusing on the Rainbow fish. During our English lesson we created our own Rainbow fish, making marks for a purpose. Can you make your own rainbow fish at home?
The nursery children had fun baking biscuits in nursery yesterday. They discussed what ingredients they would need, they followed instructions and did some fantastic maths work counting how many spoonfuls.

In preparation for our Teddy Bears’ Picnic we made our own jam butties! We followed instructions on how to make them- they were delicious! Thank you again for all the kind cake donations for our Teddy Bears’ Picnic; we were spoilt for choice!

Nursery have been on an environmental walk this week, listening to all the different sounds we could hear as we walked around school.
