Should children be allowed to vote?

This was Class 10’s latest Language and Communication question.

The vocabulary they were asked to consider was:

• democracy
• equality
• rights
• responsibility

During the lesson, the children added their own language of the lesson, including:

• mature
• democratic
• influenced

The debate around this question was lively but respectful. There were some excellent arguments from both sides.
