Nursery has set up an ice cream van ready for the children to explore tomorrow. This area has also been developed to support the children’s communication and language development.
Nursery have been painting tropical fish and under the sea creatures. How fantastic do the look? Can you make an under the sea creature at home in a creative way and bring it in to nursery to show us?

In nursery we have been engaging in conversations. Have have been pretending we are pirates and going to find the treasure. When we arrived we found some super treasure!
Our new topic is balanced arguments and today we took the roles of for, against and a even had ajudge. We used our persuasive vocabulary and strong sentence openers to put forward our arguments. Class 12 did a great job of verbalising their opinions and stating reasons why. Questions included: should children be allowed to go on any video games? Should summer holidays be cut down to 2 weeks? Should all schools have a sports field?
