Today, we had a visit from Chaplins Pantomimes who treated us to a wonderful performance of Cinderella.
We have been preparing for our final piece of writing, recounting our trip to Macclesfield Museum and as part of that we have completed an activity called ‘Magpie Notebook’. Today in English, we were able to magpie ideas from our friends to help us with our special writing tomorrow. We rotated around the classroom to read other people’s writing and note down any of their fabulous ideas.

In class 6 we started to look at poetry. We were finding all the different techniques and languages used in a wide range of poetry. We loved finding all the super adjectives and rhymes in them!
In nursery we have been making shakers as part of our phase 1 phonics sessions. We have experimented with the sounds that the different shakers make and compared the similarities and differences between the sounds.
Today we have had used our speaking and listening skills to consider and debate the question: We worked well in our table teams, listening to and respecting each other’s opinions.
