In nursery we love exploring the outdoors in all weather. Please ensure your child has the correct clothing in school suitable for all weather.
In nursery we are completing the superhero physical challenge that spider girl has set for us! We were very kind and caring and helped each other when one of us struggled.
As part of our new Science learning journey ‘Working Scientifically’ Class 5 carried out an investigation using Skittles. We wanted to find out what happened to them when we added different temperatures of water. We were amazed to see the effects and learn about what had happened. Can you explain what happened to the colours and why?
In Nursery we have been discussing real life superhero’s, for example, all the different people who help us, including doctors, nurses, vets, fire fighters, dentists, teachers and police. This week we have started our rugby training with Elliott from Rochdale Hornets RLFC. Our first lesson involved learnong how to how to hold the ball and then we played games that leaped us practise passing the ball. It was a bit tricky at first, as it’s so different from all the others ball sports we’ve played, but we persevered and most of us got there in the end.
Nursery had lots of parents come and join us today for the stay and play session. It was a great success. Thank you to all the parents who came!
