Working scientifically with Skittles!

As part of our new Science learning journey ‘Working Scientifically’ Class 5 carried out an investigation using Skittles. We wanted to find out what happened to them when we added different temperatures of water. We were amazed to see the effects and learn about what had happened. Working scientifically in class 7

Our new science topic is sure to be an eventful one as we look to take on lots of experiments by working scientifically. To kick us off, we focused on what it means to be a scientist, looking at fair tests, variables, predictions and results. Rugby Training

This week we have started our rugby training with Elliott from Rochdale Hornets RLFC. Our first lesson involved learnong how to how to hold the ball and then we played games that leaped us practise passing the ball. It was a bit tricky at first, as it’s so different from all the others ball sports we’ve played, but we persevered and most of us got there in the end.
