Good morning Year 6! Hope you’re all safe and well at home.

Every day we will post your tasks for the day and some extra ideas to keep you busy.

Here is a reminder of today’s tasks:

Reading book – 15 minutes

KS2 English SAT Buster 1 test per day

Grammar Book pages 24 – 25 Clauses

Power Maths page 6 – 7 Measuring with a protractor

You will find a protractor in your pack. If you have forgotten how to use a protractor, watch this video to help.

Arithmetic Test 1

Science – Create a factfile about Charles Darwin (use the sheet provided if you want to). You can research him further or use your prior knowledge from last week.

We have set tasks to revise previous learning but if you have forgotten anything please just try your best!

Other ways to keep busy:

  • Children can begin their morning with ‘Joe/The Body Coach’ who is posting live 30 minute PE lessons on YouTube every morning at 9am.  Follow the link on his page: https://www.thebodycoach.com/blog/pe-with-joe-1254.html
  • Make a bookmark at home to use when you are reading.
  • Use your purple mash or TT Rockstars log in.
  • Engage in some outdoor activities in your garden or in your house.

Check the blog each day for your learning tasks and other activities to keep you motivated.
