Some children in Class 1 showed an interest in rolling hoops when playing outside, so in P.E. we have been practising rolling objects to one another. We started by rolling a ball to a partner, gradually increasing the distance between us. Then we practised rolling hoops to one another.
Spring team completed the zip-wire challenge yesterday in the snow and frost. Everyone took part and gave it a go and it has proved a highlight of the trip for many so far.

First morning netball session after half term spent testing out our new netball nets. We developed the correct position to shoot and miss Bishop was impressed with the amount of goals we scored. High 5 netball means we all have to play a mixture of positions including shooters!
This term the children in Year 3 we will receiving specialised gymnastics training during their PE lessons from Beth Tweddle’s (Olympic medallist) gymnastic coaching company.
