As a start to our Computing unit, Class 12 has been considering what it means to have good digital well-being. We discussed our ideas as a class and then created posters to promote the ideas of good digital well-being.
In our computing lesson we talked about the word ‘technology’ and what it means. We had a look around our classroom and labelled things that could be classed as technology. We were shocked to discover that things like pencils and scissors are technology!
In Class 9, we started our computing topic by looking at the ground rules for using our devices and the internet in school. We also discussed how we use the Internet such as learning, playing games and for communication and why it is important to balance time online and offline. Read more…
