Today, class 7 learned about ‘branch databases.’ We played some fun games of ‘guess who’ in pairs using YES/NO questions to try and guess the vegetable or musical instrument.
Today for world book day, class 7 enjoyed lots of vocabulary activities. One of these activities involved a class competition where the children had to work in table groups to see who could find the most synonyms for their word! Well done red table with 18 synonyms!
For Safer Internet Day, class 7 looked at the different ways to create a ‘positive digital footprint’. We made a poster about this and then discussed our own digital footprints – thinking about our online use and how we can stay safe online.
This week in computing, we have been looking at different methods of communication and thinking about the advantages and disadvantages of them.

This week, class 7 finished making their packaging – a box that would contain sweets for Christmas or for a gift. They really enjoyed the designing process and were very excited to finally finish their intended product. They look great!
This week, class 7 finished their French this term by making a French advent calendar using the days of the week. They also learned about the different Christmas traditions in France, which were very similar to our own. Well done!
