We have been looking at Australian Aboriginal art. We have looked at different styles. We have used paint and felt tips. We really enjoyed doing it.
Today we made a mini greenhouse, we used our skills and knowledge from last half term to design and create a mini greenhouse. We focused on 3D shapes and stability. We had lots of fun and we all helped one another!
This week we have finished off our Africa topic by designing and painting African drums. We have practised mixing warm colours and painting them carefully by looking at examples for our inspiration of African patterns.

This week, the children in Class 9 painted and detailed their Ancient Greek ‘pinch pots’. They used the designs they had sketched a few weeks earlier to give their pots an Ancient Grecian look.
