Year 5 created a variety of exciting fantasy stories for their special write. Children chose their own character and created a portal where the character went to an unusual fantasy setting. During Art, children designed their own front cover and blurb and then in ICT children typed out their story. Some children were also chosen to read their stories to Year 1 for story time. We are going to enjoy reading our stories to each other this half-term.

Library Visit
Year 4 visited Heywood Library this week. Children chose a range of books including comics, fantasy and historical. Children also chose books from topics we have done in class this year such as Vikings and Read more…

I really enjoyed making these books, they were so fun to make!
