Happy Wednesday Year 6! We hope you are well and have been enjoying your work this week.
The tasks for today are from the Summer 2, Week 1 timetable in your packs.
English
- Read for at least 20 minutes today.
- English Task – Conjunctions. Follow the instructions on the worksheet. Don’t forget, a conjunction is a type of word that joins two independent sentences e.g. and, but, so, because. You can find more information if needed on BBC Bitesize here and here.
Maths
- Complete the ultimate times table challenge worksheet. Time yourself – see how many you can answer in 10 minutes. If there are any left over, complete those too. Let us know how you get on!
- Keep logging on to Timestable Rockstars if you have access to a device with internet and compete against the rest of the class.
Extra activities
- Choose an exercise to do. It could be football outside, skipping, a bike ride, creating your own Joe Wicks-style workout to fet your heart rate up.
- Create something using your new art pack from Cartwheel Arts – send us some pictures of your creations!
