Good morning Year 6! We hope you’re all well and finding your home learning interesting this week.

Today’s tasks for home learning are:

English

  • Read your reading book today for at least 15 minutes. Let us know what you’re reading in the comments. Would you recommend it to your classmates?
  • Complete the ‘Synonyms’ SPaG sheet from the home learning pack. 
  • Complete the ‘test yourself’ section of the French spelling rules sheet from the home learning pack. This is on the same sheet that you you used on Monday.

Maths

  • Complete Power Maths pages 66-68. Problem solving – Percentages.

  • Complete the comprehension sheet from your work pack about Mary Wollstonecraft. She was one of the first people to start writing about men and women’s equality. 

 

Other things you may want to try:

    • If you can, go outside in your garden or look out of your window and create an observational drawing. What will you draw? Something man-made or natural? Will you choose to zoom in and focus on detail or zoom out and draw everything you can see?

  • Internet Safety
    Activity 2: Alfie’s videos

    Discuss the steps that you can take to ensure that you are safe online.
