Good morning! We hope you are well.

Please find below your activities for today from the Week 4 time table in your home learning packs.

English
* Read something of your choice for at least 15 minutes today. If you want any recommendations of what to read, please ask. We’re always happy to recommend something 🙂

* English reading comprehension worksheet – ‘The Dolphin.’ Take your time to read the text first then keep referring back to help you answer the questions.

Maths
* Power Maths – Comparing and ordering fractions worksheet from your home learning pack. We have provided an explaination and instruction sheet on the reverse side. If you need more information on how to compare and order fractions, this BBC Bitesize page has all the information you will need.

* Arithmetic Test – Summer 2 Worksheet. We have provided the answers in your pack – ask an adult or mark it yourself. During the week, try to work on one or two of the questions you got wrong today to see if you can improve your score by the end of the week. If there’s a question you keep getting wrong, comment on this blog or ask an adult to email us and we’ll guide you through it.

Mindfulness
We have provided some colouring sheets to complete today. Like we mentioned on the blog post yesterday, mindfulness is very individual and everyone has something different they find relaxing. If you would rather complete a different mindfulness activity from the pack, read or do another activity you find more calming, do that instead. We are hoping you can use this as time to discover something new that helps you to feel calm.

Extras:
* As you may have seen in Miss Calcutt’s blog post, you now have access at home to the website used at school for learning French. Language Angels Home School is accessible with the username: Harwoo1842 and the password: lahome
Through the website, you’ll be able to practise your French and learn some new words and phrases through their games and songs.

* Last week was ‘Deaf Awareness Week’. Why not learn some British Sign Language greetings or learn how to spell your name using BSL?

If you have any questions about the learning for today, do get in touch via the comments on the blog or ask an adult to email your class teacher. We’d love to hear what you’ve been up to as well.
