Happy Friday! Kick back and Relax with Mr Tubs Pork Crackling - News

This is your final formal home-learning task before the 2-week Easter holiday. We will continue in the same way after Easter (Monday 20th April).
You’ve been doing brilliantly over the last couple of weeks and we’re really pleased you’ve been working so hard at home.

We will be setting you a project for the Easter holidays, like we usually do, so keep your eyes peeled for that on here later today.

Here’s a reminder of your tasks for today:

English

    • Set aside some time for reading today. At least 15 minutes where you choose something you know you’ll enjoy.
      GetEpic.com
is currently offering free 30 day access to 1000s of online fiction and non-fiction books that you can read through your device at home. Again, if you want any recommendations, just ask!
    • KS2 SATs Buster – complete the next text in the pack.
    • Punctuation book, pages 40 – 41. Mixed Practise.
If you get stuck, don’t forget you can Google the punctuation name with year 6 after and you should find an age-appropriate explanation.

Maths

RE

Think about what we’ve been doing in class. We’ve been learning about Humanists and their approach to life and how they believe we create our own set of rules and codes for life and how to behave correctly and morally. They don’t take these rules from religious texts.
Think about what values matter most to you in your life – why are they more important than other values? Create a list or poster of your top 10 values. E.g. honesty, kindness etc.

As always, if you need help or advice, please email your child’s class teacher or comment below. We’d love to hear from you! 🙂

Can you ensure that it is parents/carers only emailing and that children use the comments on the blog to message us. Thanks!
