Good morning everyone,
We hope you enjoyed completing your home learning activities yesterday! Remember to collect your new home learning packs from school if you haven’t already. You will also receive a free arts and crafts box provided by Cartwheel Arts in Heywood – make sure you send us any pictures of anything you create!
Please see below for your tasks for today. As today is the last day for the sun, make sure you get outside and enjoy it!
Daily exercise
Make sure you get some exercise in every day. This could be going for a walk, a bike ride, an assault course in your garden or a workout video from YouTube.
Maths
As a lot you are struggling with Power Maths, we have decided to give fluency work in this set of packs. The fluency that has been set is recapping prior learning from when we were at school. Today’s Maths is to complete all 4 maths questions using the table at the bottom of the sheet for any working out.
English
Choose the best conjunction to fit into the sentences. Read all the different types of conjunction. Remember, a conjunction joins 2 separate sentences together.
Geography
Use the word bank at the bottom of the sheet to label the key features of a volcano. This is a recap of our prior learning. If you have forgotten, don’t worry, research the features using the internet.
Purple Mash
Just a reminder…to allow you to keep in touch with your friends, school have set up an emailing service on your purple mash account. If you log on to purple mash > computing > 2Email, you can email your classmates in an easy and safe way. Let your friends know what you have been up to and wait for a reply back.
