Good morning everyone,

Happy Tuesday! We hope you had a good day yesterday and are ready to take on what today has in store. Please see below for today’s tasks:

Daily exercise

Make sure you get some exercise in every day. This could be going for a walk, a bike ride, an assault course in your garden or a workout video from YouTube. There are lots of good videos on YouTube, click here to find another video I have enjoyed. It’s not too difficult and if you turn the music up loud, it gets you really motivated!

Maths

Your Power Maths pages today are 92-94 which are all about equivalent lengths – metres to centimetres. Look through your discover, share and think together pages first as this will help with your understanding.

English

‘Magic Adverbs’ worksheet – this sheet is double sided and tells you all about the skill needed to complete the activity. Make sure you read through it carefully.

Mad Maths Minutes Fluency

Today it is counting in 3s. There are quite a lot to get through but try to complete as many as you can.

RE

This week, we have set you an RE project to design your own religious place of worship. At school we have looked at Christianity and Islam together and we would have continued onto Judaism and Hinduism.

After your research yesterday, draw a practise sketch of what you would like your place of worships to look like. Think carefully about what needs to be inside your place of worship e.g. a church has an alter and draw a bird’s eye view. See below for an example of a church’s bird’s eye view:

Extra activities

We hope you enjoyed looking through some free books yesterday and found some you enjoyed.

  •  Dress up day – Celebrate your favourite story by dressing up as one of its characters. Try to get your whole family involved for a joint effort and spend the day dressed up. Be creative about how you make your outfit and props and send a picture in via the email addresses below.

Don’t forget, if you have anything you want to share and ask please comment below or email your class teacher:

Enjoy your day and remember to check the blog tomorrow,
