Good morning everyone,
May the 4th be with you! We hope you’ve had a lovely weekend and are ready for some more home learning this week. Please see below for today’s tasks and something extra to keep you busy:
Daily exercise
Make sure you get some exercise in every day. This could be going for a walk, a bike ride, an assault course in your garden or a workout video from YouTube. There are lots of good videos on YouTube, click here to find another video I have enjoyed. This is BORN TO MOVE so all about dancing to keep fit – enjoy!
Maths
Your Power Maths pages today are 104-106 which are all about subtracting lengths. Look through your discover, share and think together pages first as this will help with your understanding.
English
Complete the character profile sheet by describing your favourite book character. Use bullet points to describe what they look like, their personality, their actions in the story and how the character changes in the story.
Fluency
Complete the 3x table multiplication wheels.
Art
This week, we would like you to look at the artist, Andy Goldsworthy. Each day you will be set a different activity based on him and his artwork.
Today I would like you to research Andy Goldsworthy and create a fact file about him using the sheet provided. See below for some useful links:

Extra activities
This week is Deaf Awareness Week. Why not spend some of your day learning sign language?
Below is a sheet which shows you the letters of the alphabet using sign language. Spend some time signing these and perhaps learn how to sign your name. Once you’ve done this, download the The Finger Spelling Challenge and see if you can work out the words:
Don’t forget, if you have anything you want to share and ask please comment below or email your class teacher:

Have a good day and don’t forget to check back in tomorrow,
Miss Wolf and Miss Gibson 😀
