Although World Book Day was a little different this year, in Class 13 we still managed to have fun! For our chosen book , we decided to focus on Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone by JK Rowling and we recreate the cupboard under the stairs; Harry Potter’s first home. Our online learners had a variety of tasks such as : rewriting the ending to The book and describing the characters. They also had a reading menu of activities to have a go at like making their own wand!
Overall, we had a fantastic day and appreciated the magical world of reading!
