Class 11 enjoyed taking part in the global Hour of Code week! We started by watching a video of celebrities describing how important coding is for the future. We then tried to guide Kyle round the classroom using coding and then applied this knowledge to some challenging apps.

Class 3 worked hard during Enterprise Week designing, making and evaluating a range of different products. We were very busy making Sock Snowmen, Christmas cards, Christmas gift bags and tags which we successfully sold at the Christmas Markets on Friday!
Class 11 were set the task to design, create and sell their Lollipop Christmas decorations at the Christmas Markets. Our second language and communication lesson addressed a very relevant and important topic: social media. The conversations children were having were very interesting and showed a range of opinions, view points and an opportunity to share how different children value different elements of technology for a range of reasons.
Last week, class 12 designed a range of products based around the use of buttons. They researched and designed different ideas before we made Christmas cards, hair bobbles, present labels and Christmas tree decorations.
This week, Class 9 have been very busy making things to sell at the Christmas Markets. Using our £20 budget, we bought resources to design and make pine cone Christmas decorations and Elf Snot Slime.
