Children practised stitching for the first time before making their owl puppets. It took a lot of perseverance and a positive mindset but we did an excellent job in the end!
In RE children looked at objects related to Judaism. They thought about what it might be and worked to match it to the correct definition and explanation of the objects.
As part of our Science learning journey we have explored which materials are natural and which are man made. Children worked practically deciding how to sort the materials they were given.

In class 6 we have been exploring puppets before we begin to make our own puppets based on the book The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark. We looked at how the puppets were made and the colours used and discussed which ones were our favourites.

In class 6 our PE topic for this half term is dance. We have been reading the story of penguin small and putting actions with the story through dance. We have practiced counting to the beat and carrying out moves in unison and in a canon.
