Our new text in Class 11 is a historical poem called ‘Lady of Shalott’. Before reading the poem we used questioning and observations to start to think and wonder about who the Lady of Shalott could be. It was interesting hearing different perceptions and view points.

Well done Class 11 for your fantastic class assembly today! I think everyone learnt a lot about the rainforest today and enjoyed seeing all the interesting animals with strange names. We have definitley enjoyed this learning journey.
These problems are SO tricky as there are so many clues ( both independent and dependent). They tested our strategies and we needed our positive mindsets! Well done everyone, some great discussion and use of strategies- especially checking at the end!
