Our maths lesson today not only tested our reasoning skills but our growth mindset too! The strategy we are focussing in this term is trial and error. We were given a task to solve independently using tokens. We had to find a pattern using columns and rows and odd and even numbers. Although not too tricky, Class 11 realised that the process took some perseverance to trial and test a number of different options. No one gave up and everyone showed a very positive mindset through, despite some initial frustration, resulting in a lot of happy faces when they found the solution. We love reasoning in Class 11!
